Who we are
Customer Space Pty Ltd, trading as Customer Space International ("we", "us"), provides automotive mystery shopping, parts pricing intelligence, and customer feedback services to dealers, aftermarket retailers, and brand head offices. We are headquartered in Australia.

What we collect and why
- Enquiry form: first name, surname, company, email, phone (optional), areas of interest, and your message — used only to respond to your enquiry.
- Shopper signup: first name, surname, email, mobile, country, city/state, car access, and shopping experience — used only to contact you about mystery shopping work.
- Website analytics: Google Analytics (operated by Google LLC, USA) collects pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type — used to understand site usage.
- Client program data: when you engage us, we collect business contact details and program data as agreed in your scoping proposal.
Where your data goes
Enquiry and shopper-signup details are emailed to our team inbox and stored on our Australian-hosted systems. Analytics data goes to Google (USA). We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to run the site and deliver programs (hosting: Hostinger; analytics: Google), and where the law requires it.
International transfers
We work across Australia, the United States, and South Africa. Your data may be transferred between these countries so we can respond to you and deliver programs. We take reasonable steps to ensure any overseas recipient handles your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry data: 24 months after last contact, then deleted.
- Shopper data: retained while you remain on our panel, deleted on request or after 24 months of inactivity.
- Analytics: per our Google Analytics retention settings.
- Program data: as agreed per engagement.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 you may ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Contact taskers@customerspace.com.au and we will respond within 30 days.
Marketing
We only send marketing with your consent, as required by the Australian Spam Act 2003. Every marketing message includes a working unsubscribe option.
Cookies
We use Google Analytics cookies to understand site usage. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adult shoppers. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
Changes
We will post any changes here and update the effective date above.
Complaints
If you have a privacy complaint, contact taskers@customerspace.com.au first. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
